    Carpet

    Carpet Tiles

We have a large range of carpet tiles on display in both square and the new plank (rectangular) format.

Carpet tiles have been traditionally used in commercial settings, but with the introduction of interesting patterns and textures and the plank format, these are being used more an more in residential spaces, particularly rental properties.

Carpet tiles are flexible in that they can be moved around or replaced easily according to wear and tear, be teemed up with a vinyl plank flooring to give a seamless transition in finishes and installed in a range of formats from checkerboard to chevron and a range of colour  and style palette to achieve a floor that is truly unique.

Tile backing ranges from products with a rubber back to those with a more comfortable cushion back.

  • Underlay

    Carpet

    Underlay

Most new broadloom carpets (not carpet tiles) will be installed on underlay. Underlay increases the softness and comfort of your carpet, will add to its acoustic and thermal insulation and can in some cases, help overcome minor imperfections in your floor.

We stock Airstep (rubber) and Dunlop (foam) in a number of densities and thicknesses. It is important to consider the comparative thickness of an underlay together with your carpet when setting floor levels on a new build or replacing older carpet to ensure you achieve a level that does not interfere with the functioning of internal doors and seamlessly transitions from other adjoining flooring finishes.

We have samples of a range of underlays in our showroom that you can try under your selected carpet to get a true feel for what the finished result will be.
